ACT Prep Course
February 08, 2019
On January 11th, several students from the Cedar Rapids area braved the snowy roads for an afternoon of preparing for the ACT. Carolyn Petersen volunteered her time to lead the course. During the four-hour class, she covered common questions from each test section and taught the students tricks to save time. Petersen brough along practice exams to show students to see on test day. Petersen has privately taught the course for four years out of her home. She graciously taught the course at the ROC Center free of charge. “I just like helping the kids”, said Petersen.
